Wreath Making Class
Clark County 4H Fairgrounds
9608 IN-62, Charlestown, IN
This popular event has become a tradition in many families, with participants returning each year to make a wreath to start the holiday season.
The Wreath Making Class, first offered in 1990, is held each year on the first Saturday in December at the Clark County 4H. Master Gardeners cut and trim greenery, gather pinecones, berries and other natural dried materials from the landscape to amass a wide variety of wreath-making supplies.
The fee for the class includes a special reusable wreath form. Participants are shown how to assemble a wreath and make a festive bow. They can use any of the provided supplies to put together a unique and beautiful take-home wreath.
