It is across from the Speed Cement Mill. The 8 acre Park was created for a place of enjoyment for it’s employees. Speed Park flower gardens was previously maintained and cared for by Sunnyside Master Gardeners until the property was sold. Under new ownership in 2025, it is being revived to its former glory.

Speed Park features mostly green space but includes a playground, picnic areas, gazebo and water fountain in the main garden area. Nearby is a small butterfly garden.  The flower gardens contain native plants and trees with the intent of adding additional pollinator friendly plants and trees to the garden and park.

Speed Park is known mostly for the Art in Speed Park festival which was retired in 2021. Speed Park plans to hold vintage craft shows, farmers markets and so much more in the future.
